With the energy transition at the top of Europe’s agenda and household bills rising fast, energy efficiency is a growing priority. Unfortunately, over 60% of installed heating appliances in Europe are inefficient. As part of the Horizon 2020 programme, the HARP Project (Heating Appliances Retrofit Planning) was formed.
The project developed a methodology for generating an energy label for existing heating appliances, taking into account additional factors such as degradation. This was then implemented in an online tool which consumers could use to get an estimate of their appliance’s rating and learn about their options for replacement.
With the HARP project coming to an end, this webinar is an opportunity to hear about the lessons learned during this project and to discuss how this methodology can be used in the future.
