From May to July 2020 the first round of National Expert Fora was held in France, Germany, Italy, Portugal and Spain – covering all countries targeted by the HARP project. By bringing together professionals, consumers and other relevant stakeholders linked to the heating market, these national fora have kicked off the creation of national supporting networks to facilitate the implementation of the HARP online application which will be launched in autumn 2020.
Due to the restrictions linked to COVID-19 most of the meetings were held online, allowing all interested stakeholders to participate safely.
The meetings provided an overview of the HARP project and the upcoming online application and explained implementation of activities at national level. The fora were also an opportunity for stakeholders to interact with project partners and ask questions.
At the German Expert Forum on 18 June the baseline situation regarding heating systems in Germany and the EU was discussed as well as possibilities to increase the replacement rate, such as labelling, advice on alternative solutions and information on subsidies – all of which will be offered by the HARP online app.
In Spain, the expert forum on 30 June gathered manufacturers, regional agencies and energy associations, forming the Spanish supporting network to enable the implementation of HARP labelling at national level.
Recordings are available for the Italian and the Spanish workshop. You can watch them here:
